The Everest 2000 expedition has now come to a close. I wish to thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me and lending your support to this incredible adventure.

I've had a chance to reflect upon the outcome of my journey and I can't begin to articulate what a positive and enriching experience it was. After two months of acclimatizing and preparing for the final assault, the summit day of May 23, 2000 did not afford us the luxury of favorable weather conditions. With only 500 meters remaining to reach the summit, the temperature dropped to -25 Celsius. The winds picked up to 90-100 mph and snow showers joined those winds to cause minimal visibility. At that moment, I was forced to turn around and abandon my quest.

For a variety of reasons, including the lack of oxygen and the sluggishness of the digestive system, an endeavor as significant as the summit of Everest could not be attempted without the assistance of nutritional supplementation.
