A friend called very excited to tell me about her bougainvillea plant. She was ready to throw the plant out because it was only a stick without any leaves. She remembered the PLANeT Food she had used last summer, so she gave her plant two tablespoons and a big drink. To her surprise, the next day the bougainvillea had sprouted leaves and three weeks later it was blooming. Think what our green foods must be doing to our insides! Kay Clark
Although I wasn't really quite expecting it in this way, the moment of truth had arrived for me with regard to the viability of our PLANeT Food. My wife Roberta, who observed the Master Gardener's Plant Sale being advertised in a downtown Boulder parking lot recently, notified me by cell phone about it. Mother's Day had come and gone, and with it perhaps the last of the freezing temperatures for the rest of the summer. This meant it was time to get the final tally of vegetables (starts) planted in our garden; so since I was heading into town to go to the farmer's market anyhow, I thought I'd swing by the plant sale first and see what they had. When I arrived I saw neatly organized rows of robust and healthy-looking vegetable plant starts (and flower starts too), every type you can imagine growing here in the high elevation of the Rockies. There were scores of plant starts all separated and grouped, plus labeled accurately so you knew exactly what you were buying. As I maneuvered through the throngs of eager gardeners all jockeying for position to search for their favorite plants, I saw Julie, a friend and network member of mine who was helping people with their questions. Julie is a big believer in PLANeT Food, and told me that she was in charge of the sale and that every plant start in the entire parking lot was "ju-jued" as she put it (or spiked) with Simplexity Health's PLANeT Food. To put this in perspective, you first have to understand that there might have been a few thousand plants in the parking lot with over 100 people (just when I was there), all looking to buy plants. This is basically a fundraiser for the nonprofit Cultiva Project that teaches disadvantaged kids how to grow gardens. Since the plant starts were all raised in a greenhouse and given shots of PLANeT Food mixed in water, they just looked hardier and more resilient than most plants I see at nurseries. Julie explained how she knows the PLANeT Food strengthens the young plants to insure the survival rate when they are transferred to the outdoor environment to harden them off before they are put into someone's garden. That's why she watered every plant with our product. For me, the list goes on to a full page of additional benefits better left for another e-mail, another time; but I'm glad Julie sees this one as a huge advantage. I left the plant sale with nine different kinds of tomatoes, several kinds of eggplants, cucumbers, melons, Brussels sprouts, chili peppers, and basil and other herbs. However, the best part of all was leaving with the feeling of contributing to the health of a community by sharing a product I believe in with a friend, stepping back, and watching the results grow. In many parts of the country, spring weather (and with it planting season) is on the horizon. Of course, it continues to snow almost daily in Klamath Falls, but we have enjoyed reading a series of exchanges on the Leadership Alliance "chat list" that we wanted to share with others. For more information about joining the Leadership Alliance to have access to many interesting messages, visit ctleadershipalliance.org.
I just can't say enough about our simple but amazing soil amendment, PLANeT Food! A friend just moved away and gave me a garden arch and the two plants that had been woven through it. The plants hadn't done much flowering for quite awhile. I just put the archway back together and put the Purple Painted Trumpet Flower and the Confederate Jasmine back on the arch. Then I added the PLANeT Food. Within 14 days it had about 10 double Purple Trumpet blooms and about 30 to 40 jasmine blossoms popping out. Now they are starting to open. It looks FANTASTIC with the small white and large purple blossoms. The fragrance is wonderful. I'll have to take a picture and send it to my friend. Wish we could display some of these great photos on our Simplexity Health site!! There's nothing like a picture! Keith [Note from Simplexity Health: We'd love to display good photos of our PLANeT Food in action. Send us yours, and we'll revive the PLANeT Food Show and Tell section of our website. Use our feedback page at www.celltech.com/feedback to let us know that you have pictures that you'd like to send, and we'll provide you with further directions. We'll look forward to seeing those beautiful plants, Keith!]
I planted broccoli last spring and put on PLANeT Food. I sprinkled it around the plants when I planted them. In the summer, I laid a ruler next to them so I could just see the size next to the ruler. They measured 15 inches and larger across, and they were huge. I had about eight heads, which was enough to put in the freezer and give to my family. I had a great potato crop, too. The plants were so green and vibrant. I love the PLANeT Food. My flowers are so great; they grow so big, have lots of blooms, and the leaves are so green. Pat
PLANeT Food keeps on giving! Our chiropractor gave PLANeT Food to her vegetable garden this past summer. You could hold one of her heirloom tomatoes one foot from your nose and smell the delicious first bite that was coming! This scent was not as noticeable from the organic heirlooms at the farmers' market until you held them about 2-3 inches from your nose. They were delicious, but the fragrance was not comparable to the ones Dr. Sue grew with PLANeT Food! Simplexity Healthians of course know that the nutrition is a direct experience of this kind of taste and smell! We were sad as the first freeze in New Mexico ended the tomato season here. On Christmas day we were invited to a traditional Italian feast at Dr. Sue's house. No one had to tell me our tomato sauce had been canned from the summer; it was amazing! Of the 10 people there, no one failed to notice the delightful taste that SBGA had added to our meal! Next summer I am ready to take some samples of PLANeT Food tomatoes to the farmers' market to let customers smell and taste the difference in the nutrition we have access to every day in our diets! I hope everyone gets to eat something grown with PLANeT Food! I love this product! Janna
I have been growing my own Chinese Honey orange trees for four-plus years. I start them in the bucket, and then after three to four years I put them in the ground. The first 3.5' tree went into the ground about eight months ago. When I transplanted it, I added a lot of PLANeT Food to the mix. Not only is the tree now over 5' tall, some of the leaves have reached an unheard-of 7" long and over 3" wide!! Imagine that! Keith Back to the Voices from the Field main page.
