Voices from the Field: Drink & Bar Product Testimonials

I had been dysfunctional for the past 12 years, including having a stroke four years ago and being placed on too many medications. My sponsor recommended Simplexity Health products to me and I started using them the end of January 2008. Seven months later, I'm 50% to 75% better after drinking Super Sun Smoothie and Go Green, and taking probiotics with enzymes. I am on the mend thanks to these products. I give thanks daily to God and to my sponsor Cheryl for giving me back my health and life.

I have just celebrated 11 years of success for myself and my family eating our wonderful products. I love to cook and eat, and often don't have the time to do elaborate meals. Last month I decided to experiment with different recipes with our new APA Blend powder. Here is one that takes about a minute to prepare, and is treat to drink. In a quart jar, mix:

2 cups filtered water
1 teaspoon APA Blend
1 teaspoon Go Green
1/4 to 1/2 cup cranberry lemonade (organic sweetened with agave and grape)

Shake or stir, and enjoy!

I mix up different drinks, always adding at least one of our products with the juice and water. They look great in wine and martini glasses for a party, and in water bottles when you are on the go at the gym, pool, and out and about.

I am enjoying "drinking" my algae rather than swallowing capsules. It is a great way for children to get the algae. This month I am going to experiment with adding in some Simply SBGA.

Have Fun and Success this summer!

My four-year-old son has grown up with the algae; he had it indirectly from his mom, and I mixed it into formula and juice and cereal whenever I could.

Recently, he saw me mixing up a Go Green/rice protein drink for myself, and asked for some. "Mmmm. Yummy!" So he helped me shake up a small glass for himself. Then we did it again the next morning!

I'm so excited that my picky eater has green-food choices that he'll happily swallow, even if standard vegetables still incite minor riots.

Here is my testimony for BG Bars. In pursuit of my Occupational Therapy degree, one day I had clinicals from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. I ate a BG Bar for lunch and felt wonderful all that day. The next day, I had a pasta/veggie blend and fruit, and I broke down and ate a macadamia nut white chocolate chunk cookie. That was at noon. By 1:30 I was ready to fall asleep, and by 3 p.m. I was starving.

I always hear people say after a meal, "I just need a bite of something sweet." For me, eating one quarter, one half, or sometimes a whole BG Bar is that taste of something sweet that can "complete" a meal. I am happy knowing that I'm eating all those wonderful sprouted greens in my sweet treat, and that the BG Bar has its own enzymes (so I don't use up my energy digesting it!).

They are on my AutoShip order.

Recently, my daughter and I attended the Wellness Fair at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Deepak Chopra was the keynote speaker, and there were over 120 booths.

I sauntered over to one that was doing some kind of laser testing on the palm of your hand for antioxidant levels in the body. I thought I would try it, as I had had my algae that morning, and was curious. Of course, they wanted to sell their supplements.

After the three-minute test, the man in the white lab coat looked at my results and said, "How many vegetables do you eat a day?" I told him more than six, and sometimes a lot more (I was thinking about our BG Bar contents), and he said, "Well, take these results over there, but whatever you're doing, keep on doing it."

My figures were off their chart, and when the next vendor who wanted to sell me their supplements saw the results, he went on to the next person and didn't even share his product. That was okay with me. I eat algae!

I just had a note from a person whose Brazilian wife had tasted a BG Bar at a demo I did a long time ago. He said he worries about her health, as she runs a boutique and has a brand-new baby and a six-year-old child. She can never eat well at work, and he would like her to have the best support he can provide, so he is ordering packages of BG Bars for her!

Isn't it wonderful to know that we can provide not just what people want, but what they need, too!

For many years I've experimented with all-natural egg dyes. Rolling an egg around in a bag of frozen blueberries for a few minutes gives a mottled purplish-blue effect; curry mixed with a little vinegar and water makes yellow overnight; red cabbage makes pink; carrot tops make green. This year, for the first time I tried blue-green algae. I mixed some algae powder with water to make a thick liquid that dyed the egg a mossy green! I love these new colors, and just use the leftover "dye" in smoothies and juice drinks as usual. Nothing artificial, nothing wasted! (Make sure you keep your eggs refrigerated throughout the process.)

Happy Spring!
