"Give 2 the Troops" is a national organization that has branches in almost every state. They've been sending care packages and letters to the troops since 2002 and have gotten lots of attention in Washington, DC. This service agency sends custom parcels and letters to every branch of the military in all combat zones. The packages are full of candy, gum, and other snacks, books, puzzles, food, and special treats of all kinds. They waste no space in any of the boxes and use socks and magazines for packing material. Their local representative told us that food bars are in high demand…especially healthy ones! So early last month, Simplexity Health's Operations Manager Peter Gleason, a veteran himself, was pleased to deliver the first shipment of the company's donation of 5000 BG Bars® to the "Give 2 the Troops" office in Albany, OR .
