Regulated Allergens in Simplexity Health Foods and Dietary Supplements


A new regulation for labels that went into effect on January 1, 2006, mandates that manufacturers declare the presence of certain allergenic substances on product labels. The major food allergens that must be declared are milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, tree nuts, wheat, peanuts, and soybeans.
